The Soapbox: Community Print Shop & Zine Library and the People’s Paper Co-op seek submissions for Paper Revolutions, a pop-up exhibition highlighting paper-based artworks, including but not limited to, handmade paper, that address social justice, community activism, political and social change, and, of course, revolution. Works will be on display at The Soapbox’s studio, and along its entrance corridor, Sept 18 – 28, and will be on view during the conference of the North American papermaking organization, the Friends of Dard Hunter, as well as during Soapbox open hours and events.

Body: Image List (title, date, materials, dimensions), + hanging/display requirements (framed / unframed , etc), and if the work is not self-explanatory, a brief statement, and IMAGE(S) of the proposed artwork(s).
** Realistically, we have space for maybe 1 or 2 artworks per person, but please send images of any pieces that you feel fit with the theme.**
Shipped artworks must be received by Wednesday September 11th.
Hand delivered* artworks must be received by Sunday September 15th. *Artworks can be hand delivered Wednesdays 5pm -9pm; and Sundays 1pm -5pm.
