Soapbox’s Monthly Mail Art Exchange: July
July 5, 12:00 pm - July 31, 12:00 pm
The Soapbox invites you to participate in a Mail Art exchange. Join us each month for a different instructional video from one of our member artists, create an edition of work that can be sent through the mail using any technique, and sit back and relax while your mail carrier delivers an assortment of original artwork! This exchange is rooted in West Philadelphia, but we encourage artists from all over to take part. Your participation supports our community studio, and all artwork will be catalogued in our Zine Library and available to our community. This month, join artist Amanda D’Amico to explore simple pattern stamping you can do at home with everyday objects! Participants will be emailed a demo video, a list of addresses, and the size of the exchange on the 5th of the month. All artwork should be postmarked by the end of the month. Participants are responsible for their own postage.
