Apply to be a Soapbox Fellow!

The Soapbox seeks applications for its FELLOWS program, for terms beginning June 1.

Soapbox Fellows run Soapbox Open Hours (Wednesdays, 6-10 pm or Sundays 1-5 pm) and assist with other events and needs of the organization. Fellows are a key part of our operations and face to our community. In exchange, Fellows enjoy keyholder access to the studio, while also building skills in non-profit arts management. Soapbox Fellows are required to contribute a minimum of five hours/week and to make a six-month commitment. Applications will be reviewed in May.

Solid skills in screenprinting or letterpress printing are a must, with additional pluses for experience with hand papermaking, printing on an etching press (relief, intaglio, etc.), bookbinding, and zine making. Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively and independently are also important.

APPLY HERE. Email us with questions! We hope to hear from you.
